TCS Mexico started its operations in the city of Mexico in 2003. It has rendered advanced and specialized IT services, consulting, testing, software development, Business Processes Outsourcing (BPO), contact center, IT infrastructure solutions, industrial and engineering services and solutions based on TCS exclusive products for current and prospective clients.
TCS Mexico is an essential part of TCS Latin America and acts as a business arm of Tata Consultancy Services, which operates with Global Delivery Centers in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Uruguay. These centers are CMMi level 5 certified, the highest quality standard of the industry.
Operations are currently carried out in three modern centers. The oldest is the Guadalajara center, opened by the President of Mexico, C. Felipe Calderón, in 2007. Another one is in Guadalajara, and the third one is in the city of Querétaro, which were opened in 2007 and 2009, respectively.
All these Global Delivery Centers have certifications of high quality and service levels. TCS has an IQMS internal system that complies with international standards; ISO 9001, ISO 2000, ISO 27000, TL 9000, as well as CMMi Level 5 and PCMM Level models. Besides, it complies with the highest infrastructure and security standards including physical, networks, personnel, and systems.
Mexico is one of the most important links for the expansion strategy of TCS in the region for many reasons, such as the closeness in distance and time zone to the United States and political and economic stability, as well as the high academic level of graduate professionals.
