Go4IT work experience program for girls interested in IT

Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) are at the forefront of innovation across the globe. However, in Australia, growth in the IT industry faces two significant challenges; a skills shortage and an under representation of women in the industry.

TCS is passionate about addressing these challenges. TCS has a series of Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives that seek to support and encourage girls to study STEM subjects - which in turn we hope will inspire girls into a career in IT.

The TCS Go4IT work experience program aims to:

  • inspire girls to consider a career and future studies in IT
  • provide insight into the varied roles within an IT company and the business world
  • empower girls to design and develop IT projects
  • complement the school curriculum
