In this ARC View report, ARC Analyst, Janice Abel, writes about a case study that describes how TCS helped a major global pharmaceutical manufacturer implement a sales force mobility project using its rigorous and validated processes. The project is now being rolled out globally, with completion scheduled for Q3 2013.
ARC recently spoke with the Director of Mobility at a major global pharmaceutical manufacturer to discuss its implementation of a new mobility solution intended to increase the productivity of its sales force by providing instant access to specific medical information and sales literature for their physician customers from iPad tablets. Significantly, the manufacturer and its strategic IT solution provider, TCS, implemented this sales force mobility project using its rigorous and validated processes.
Excerpts from the report:
“According to the company’s mobility director, ‘When the company decided to implement a mobility solution, we immediately thought of TCS as our integration partner. We have partnered with them for a long time and have had good experiences.’ TCS was also already familiar with the company’s development, methodologies, standards, quality and other work processes. ‘Validation is required for everything we do, and we use the same processes to implement every application. We do not differentiate from our standard process and always deploy applications to meet the company’s highest level of quality.’”
