TCS' Social Soccer Application, developed during the 2014 FIFA World Cup, was recognized as the Social Application of the year at the CMO Asia Awards for "Excellence in Digital Marketing & Social Media", organized by CMO Asia and hosted by the World Brand Congress - a network of top marketing decision makers in the Asia Pacific region.
At the same event, TCS also won an award for Best use of Digital / Social Media in Cause Marketing / CSR Marketing for the TCS IT Wiz Digital Marketing campaign undertaken during the 2014 season (July to December 2014).
The CMO Asia awards salute the year’s most outstanding Innovative Campaigns / Online communication initiatives in the highly competitive and dynamic digital & social media arena across the Asia Pacific Region. The awards were distributed at an event held at Pan Pacific, Marina Square, Singapore on August 11, 2015.
TCS had also won the "National Awards for Excellence in Digital Marketing & Social Media" in the same categories at the CMO Asia - India awards held in Mumbai on July 24, 2015.
