Societe Generale is a leading provider of payment and cash management services to corporate and institutional customers around the world. To enhance the services offered to their customers in Europe and stay ahead in complying with market regulations such as PSD and SEPA, Societe Generale decided to create a centralized hub for processing payments and cash management products across multiple markets. Tata Consultancy Services implemented TCS BaNCS, an integrated universal product suite for banking and financial services, at Societe Generale, to help realize its pan European platform for payments and cash management services, resulting in an increase of more than 25% in STP rates and 40% gain in back-office processing efficiency.
