Dr. Gautam Shroff is a PhD in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, New York. He is the Vice President and Chief Scientist at TCS. He heads the Applications Research Area Council. His interests include analytics and information fusion. He also leads teams that derive business intelligence by exploiting multi-structured external and internal data sources.
Dr. Smita Ghaisas holds a PhD in Physics and a post doctorate from University of Michigan. She has worked on enabling knowledge reuse communities of practice. Her research interests include identification, classification and structuring of knowledge to make it easily usable.
Prateep Misra, an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur and a Research Area Manager at TCS leads a team of research engineers to develop a cloud-based platform for the development and deployment of Internet-of-Things applications.
Dr. Raj holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His research areas include working on computational biology and how it transforms healthcare.
Dr. Sharmila Mande is a PhD from Indian Institute of Science. She guides a team of researchers who develop algorithms in systems biology and meta genomics and applies them to understand the various diseases.
