Bekaert, a global leader in drawn steel wire products and applications, has been able to efficiently manage the complex challenges thrown up by rapidly varying consumer demand. TCS designed, developed and deployed a SAP-based variant configuration solution that fulfilled Bekaert’s requirements. This solution addressed Bekaert’s needs across different locations from a single IT platform by tailoring products, optimizing processes, and improving information exchange and customer service. As a result, Bekaert achieved substantial cost savings.
