With the cessation of vendor support for its existing iMAN system, HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited) required to upgrade its Product Data Management (PDM) system. The company engaged its long-standing partner, TCS, to perform the upgrade. In a one-of-its-kind upgrade, TCS migrated the largest and most complex database, in a record time of 37 days, to the chosen platform and also provided HAL with a technological foundation that supported changing business needs.
