The decision to merge business units in Agilent resulted in redundant price lists in Price-Surfer, a CRM tool which is an integral part of Agilent’s Price Management solution. Agilent realized the need to re-haul the application to improve user experience and reduce price list generation time and support monitoring effort. TCS guided by its principles for simplifying and streamlining IT landscapes transformed the outdated structure of the price lists to the existing streamlined set of price lists, thereby reducing the monthly price lists generation time by 50% and improving ease of operation. The project also received the ‘IT Supplier Innovation Award for continuous improvement and value add to Agilent IT’.
