Market Infrastructure solution from TCS BaNCS, the Right Platform for Voluntary Carbon Unit Trading

The global carbon market is set to expand, with wider participation and convergence of global climate change policy. This is expected to lead to the evolution of international carbon credits, with active trading of carbon being perceived as a low-cost insurance policy against problems arising from the rapid increase in global carbon emissions. At that juncture, effective and efficient market-based solutions will become critical to each government as restrictions on carbon emissions are further tightened.

To facilitate voluntary carbon unit (VCU) trading, New Zealand Stock Exchange selected the Market Infrastructure solution from TCS BaNCS, helping it establish a one-of-its-kind platform, setting trends in the APAC region.
