Even as the proliferation of automation increases, ever so often there are pockets in processes that are manually controlled. These pockets are generally exceptions to the standard process and hence, require manual involvement.
This paper illustrates how repetitive instances of manual decision-making can be automated using the Case-Based Reasoning technique, bringing a significant level of automation even in the otherwise manual activity.
