Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has been in the Danish market since 1991. It has a registered office in Copenhagen and over 1,100 consultants work with Danish clients. Beyond Denmark, TCS has offices in all the Nordic countries - Stockholm, Copenhagen, Oslo, Helsinki and Reykjavik.

TCS has an interest to support students, faculties and / or research programs across Nordic and the European Union (EU), which is aligned with the EU skills development agenda. We wish to create sustainable relationships with academic institutions. Aalto University (Finland), Copenhagen Business School (Denmark), Haaga Helia University (Finland), IT University (Denmark), Mälardalens University (Sweden) and NTNU (Norway) are a few examples of universities where we have created a collaborative footprint.
In Nordic we invest our time and efforts to reduce the skills shortage of talent with Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) competencies. TCS’ initiatives have been launched to raise awareness / interest among young people for a career in technology / IT, and some examples include the following:
- Devotek Lab, Kongsberg: TCSers conduct courses where students, age 13+, get a chance to design and manufacture miniature F1 cars.
- Stockholm Science & Innovation School, Stockholm: TCSers offer teachers knowledge-sharing sessions and inspirational presentations / lectures to enable this newly-opened upper-secondary school to provide their students world-class education.
For the fourth consecutive year, our clients have named TCS as the number one service provider in customer satisfaction. The KPMG Nordic Service Provider Performance & Satisfaction Study is an independent IT survey on trends and satisfaction based on perception from end-user clients. The survey was initiated in 2010, the year TCS was ranked 11 % ahead of runner up in customer satisfaction. This year TCS ranked 19% over average in customer satisfaction. Whilst the survey average has dropped for each KPI during the years, TCS keep raising the bar and increase in customer satisfaction for each KPI. In Denmark TCS was ranked 15% higher than the runner up in general satisfaction level.
