TCS operates a dedicated BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) services center in Quito, Ecuador which provides core transaction processing as well as IT infrastructure management for leadings banks in the country. In 2007 TCS had won a major outsourcing contract with Banco Pichincha for which is maintains a team of over 600 in country personnel.
