TCS in South America forms part of the the Latin America business arm of Tata Consultancy Services, that operates across the Spanish and Portuguese speaking regions of the world. 

Over 5,500 local consultants provide IT services, business solutions and outsourcing to over 150 regional and global clients across 14 countries in Mexico, Central America, South America, Spain and Portugal. TCS operates Global Delivery centers (GDC) in Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina and Mexico at CMMi Level 5, the highest quality standard for the industry, and maintains a BPO Center in Chile and Ecuador.

Having established successful large operations in North America, Europe and Asia over 4 decades, TCS forayed into Latin America in 2002, setting up a modest operation with 15 people based out of the Uruguayan capital city of Montevideo. With this seed, a subsidiary company called TCS Iberoamerica was born, expanding rapidly into a major operation spanning the Spanish and Portuguese speaking countries of Latin America and Europe. This year, TCS Iberamerica celebrates 5 years of its founding and coincidentally its 5000th local employee, with an advertising and media campaign.
