The recently concluded (June 4-7) PegaWorld event at Las Vegas, Nevada, US had more than 4000 customers and partners of Pegasystems gather to participate in break-out sessions, share best practices, and watch product demonstrations. Here's my brief in-person account of the event highlights.
TCS, a Diamond sponsor of the event, hosted a booth and recharging stations with the theme of Enterprise Agility Recharged. This theme and the demonstrations at the booth symbolized and substantiated how our Automation solutions help our customers energize their business agility and performance. At the booth we demonstrated:
• TCS HealthCare Travel Emergency Assistance: By leveraging the power of RPA, analytics and the omni-channel experience of Pega’s suite of products, this application delivers educated advice from the nearest emergency unit on the patient’s next-best-action from the safety perspective.
• TCS Pega Warranty Analytics Solution: The offering utilizes Pega Decision Management components such as strategies and scorecards combined with adaptive and predictive analytical models, dealer performance metrics and claims information to make relevant decisions.
• TCS Telecom Order Activation Solution: Includes business processes developed on the
Pega 7 platform to facilitate Detailed Lead to Activation Process for Mobile Voice Product and Change Plan for Mobile Voice Product.
• TCS DevOps – Continuous Development, Delivery, and Support Tools: This is a set of comprehensive tools developed on the Pega Platform to automate manual tasks performed during development, deployment and support of Pega 7 applications
These demonstrations ensured a crowded booth during most of the days and provided opportunities to interact with various existing and potential TCS customers. In total, we had teams from more than 50 unique clients visiting us. Of these, more than 20 clients have encouraged us to have deeper discussions with them.
As part of the sponsorship deal, we also had an opportunity to present a success story in a break-out session. Along with our invited customer Talk Talk from UK, we presented how easily and exceptionally we enabled their CRM transformation. Our migration from Talk Talk's existing CRM system to the Pega CRM system had a success rate of 99.99%. Watch the video of this success story here.

We also have a global business solution center focused on Pega technologies and established academic partnerships that enable us to successfully deliver business outcomes to shared Pega and TCS clients. We have demonstrated leadership both in the number of certified employees and breadth of certifications completed. For all these reasons, we were awarded the Pega 2017 Partner Excellence in Driving Customer Success: Advanced Practice Development Award. For our team and me it was a moment of euphoria to receive the award at the event.
The excitement did not end there. Parisheel from our team won a chess match with Alan Trefler, the founder and CEO of Pegasystems. The chess match is an annual ritual at the PegaWorld, where Alan plays chess simultaneously with the participants.
All in all, PegaWorld 2017 was an insightful and exhilarating experience for me. Look forward to connect again next year. Till then, let's keep the conversations going.
