Application process for TCS Atlas Hiring for YoP 2023:
Step 1. Logon to the TCS NextStep Portal here https://nextstep.tcs.com/campus/#/
Step 2. Register and apply for the TCS Atlas Hiring YoP 2023
Scenario A. If you are a registered user, kindly login and proceed to complete the application form. Upon submission, kindly click on ‘Apply For Drive’
Scenario B. If you are a new user, kindly click on Register Now, choose category as ‘IT’ and proceed to fill your details. Submit your application form and click on ‘Apply For Drive’
Step 3. Select your mode of test (In-Center) and choose your preferred test centre & then click on Apply. Please Note, test centre once chosen Cannot be changed.
Step 4. To confirm your status, check ‘Track Your Application’. The status should reflect as ‘Applied for Drive’

Please note that this is a In-Center test and registrations would be on first-come-first-serve basis.

Eligibility criteria for TCS Atlas Hiring for YOP 2023:
Test provider: TCS iON is the test provider for TCS Atlas Hiring process.
Test Pattern: The duration of the Assessment is 90 minutes and is split under the below 4 sections:
• Statistics
• Mathematics
• Economics
• Programming
Q. Which year of passing (YoP) is being considered for TCS Atlas hiring process?
A. Full-time Post Graduation courses with specializations in Mathematics / Statistics / Economics from Year of passing (YoP) 2023 are eligible for TCS Atlas Hiring (Part Time / Correspondence courses will not be considered)
Q. When is the TCS Atlas Hiring test scheduled?
A. The TCS Atlas Hiring test scheduled on 25th Dec 2022 (Sunday). Candidates who have successfully completed the registration and applied for drive, will receive further communication on additional important information related to test.

Q. Do I need to create my profile under 'IT' or 'BPS' for TCS Atlas Hiring?
A. You are requested to create your profile under 'IT'.
Q. My account is locked. How can I unlock it?
A. Request you to directly log on to https://nextstep.tcs.com
Click the 'Unlock Account & Reset Password' link on the Login screen. You will receive an auto-generated email for resetting the password after 30 minutes. Please do not click on the link repeatedly as every time you click on the link, the previous password expires, and a new password is generated and sent to your registered email address.
Request you to use a Desktop / Laptop. Please clear the cache, history and cookies and use the latest version of Internet Explorer / Google Chrome.
Q. Is creating a TCS (CT / DT) Reference ID mandatory to apply for TCS Atlas Hiring?
A. Yes, it is mandatory. Registration on TCS NextStep portal (https://nextstep.tcs.com) and creation of Reference ID is essential for your candidature to be eligible for TCS Atlas Hiring. Once CT / DT ID is generated, please keep it handy as it will be required on the TCS Careers Website.
Q. Is applying on TCS Careers website and duly filling the form mandatory?
A. Yes, it is mandatory for you to register on the TCS Careers Website to be a part of TCS Atlas Hiring. Please take note of the following to ensure a smooth experience:
1. Each candidate should apply only once.
2. Registration has to be under IT segment.
3. The Reference ID provided by you should be accurate.
4. The status should reflect as ‘Applied for Drive’.
Q. I have applied for the drive but have not got a confirmation e-mail, what should I do?
A. You will not receive an acknowledgment e-mail or confirmation e-mail; therefore we request you to complete all the steps carefully. Please ensure the application status reflects as ‘Applied for Drive’ which serves as a confirmation of successful registration.
Q. My college has a CGPA grading system. However, in my application form, there is only one option to update my marks. What should I do?
A. Please convert CGPA into percentage and complete the application form.
Q. What If I already have a CT or DT reference number? Do I need to register again?
A. If you already have a CT or a DT reference number, please login to https://nextstep.tcs.com and proceed to submit the application form and subsequently 'Apply for Drive'.
Q. I have forgotten my CT / DT Reference ID, where do I get it?
A. You would have got an email from recruitment.entrylevel@tcs.com upon successful NextStep registration. The Reference ID would be mentioned in the same. For further queries, you can write to ilp.support@tcs.com
Q. Can I make changes to my profile as I have made some mistakes in my profile?
A. Limited changes can be done once the profile is in ‘Application Received’ status. Hence, we request you to complete the application form carefully.
Q. Can I change my photo in the application form?
A. Yes, you can change your photograph before you 'Submit the Application Form'. Request you to carefully follow the instructions while uploading the photograph. Once you submit your application form, you will not be able to make any changes.
Q. I already have my CT / DT number. I need to update my marks / CGPA in my application form. How can I do so?
A. You can edit the details by clicking ‘Edit Application form’ and update the required details. You can make changes only till ‘Application Received’ / ‘Applied for Drive’ status.
Q. I am unable to edit the Full-Time / Part-time course in my Application Form. What should I do?
A. If you are unable to edit the Full-time / Part-time course in the Application form, write to ilp.support@tcs.com for deletion of your profile, post which you can create a new profile with the same Email ID.
Q. I have created 2 profiles. What should I do now?
A. Only 1 profile needs to be created per candidate. Duplicate profile should not be created. Please write to ilp.support@tcs.com for deletion of your duplicate profile.
Q. Will Interviews also be conducted on the day of the test?
A. No. Basis the test performance, the interview schedule will be communicated to the shortlisted students on their respective registered e-mail IDs.
Q. How will I know about my test schedule / test related information?
A. Information related to test will be communicated by TCS iON.
Q. How will I get the results of the test?
A. As part of the hiring process, only shortlisted students will receive further communication on their registered e-mail IDs.
Q. Do I have to incur any cost to appear for the TCS Atlas Hiring Test?
A. TCS does not charge any fees at any stage of recruitment process. TCS is not affiliated with any agent / agency / company to advertise about TCS Hiring, conduct any employment interviews or make offers of employment on its behalf.
Q. What documents are required for TCS selection process?
A. You must have all your 10th, 12th, Diploma (if applicable), UG / PG academic marksheets till last semester, degree certificates and all employment related documents at the time of interview as well as joining (if you are selected).
Q. What are the documents required if I have work experience?
A. If you are a candidate with a work experience, please note that:
• You must provide experience related documents such as Experience Letter / Release Letter/ documents wherein Date of Joining, and Date of Release is clearly mentioned at the time of interview for all the previous organizations
• For the current organization you must provide valid proof of work like Appointment Letter / Joining Letter during the interview.
• If selected, you must provide Release Letter and Experience certificate from your last organization at the time of joining TCS.
