Boots are the UK's leading health and beauty retailer. We have a history of over 170 years pharmacy and retail presence in the UK. Our new promotions platform at Boots is an SAP promotions management for retail solutions built on SAP car in Microsoft Azure. The technology we use enables us to deploy our retail prices and promotions into multiple channels across a range of different promotion types. TCS were a really responsive partner for us on the project. It was key for me as a senior leader in the organization that I was able to work with a peer in TCS. TCS understood what we were trying to achieve with the project. They deployed significantly experienced and qualified resources and through a number of ups and downs on the project, we managed through those things together and it helped bring us a really good partnership outcome. It means we are much better able to respond to market trends in pricing or promotions we are seeing from our competitors, we are able to personalise those offers alongside other things that we are doing for the customer. We created a proof of concept early in the project life cycle to help our end users visualise the end solution and what it would enable for them. Through a series of user stories, we started to build out from that proof of concept into the design and delivery life cycle. TCS were alongside us as we deployed that proof of concept and that really helped to create a buzz in our business teams for what the potential end product was going to look like. Innovation is always at the forefront of our agenda. As a significantly trusted health and beauty retailer in the UK, it's important for us to continue to differentiate ourselves in our customer's thinking. The project has been a great success and that means those offers are much more tailored to individual customers and enables Boots to be a much more innovative and responsive retailer.
