My name is Christian Sakarev. I'm the Chief Enterprise Solutions Officer here at Coop Sweden. Our mission has always been to offer good food at a price that makes a difference in welcoming store environment. Seven years ago, Coop and the board made two major decisions. One was to invest in a fully automated warehouse and the second was to decommission its technical depth of mainframe and legacy in favour of implementing a full Greenfield stack of SAP S4 Retail. This would lay the foundation of a modern digital platform to support the mission and prepare coup for the future. Our eskies are now fully automated. Food Terminal is one of Northern Europe's largest and required a strong digital backbone. Through this transformation, we now have a more efficient, dependable and precise operational flow, improving how goods move from warehouse to the stores and ultimately to the shelf. With a more responsive supply chain and better master data, we can now predict demand and make faster replenishment decisions. The recipe for success has been for Coupe and TCS to work as one team, but this has not been an easy journey. We've had a bumpy ride together where collaboration skills, leadership and organizational skills have been put to real test. Today, Coupe has successfully come out from the five year transformation and are in the final stage of stabilizing the entire platform. We have also managed to reach a huge milestone. We have decommissioned over 20 legacy and mainframe systems that were holding us back. Coupe had a clear ambition for flexibility, scale and unified ways of working, so we wanted to modernize their technology stack as a part of joint effort. Our partnership focused on building a composable architecture on ACPS for HANA, enabling faster deployments, flexible integrations and smarter decision making, and strengthening the digital backbone required to support automation and consistent operations across all consumer societies.
All this transformation is underpinned by intelligent automation and data LED insights that supports COOP leadership to act on insights. Coop now has a reliable platform to continue creating value for its customers and the wider market, and together we are building a model for the next generation of intelligent retail.
