We're always looking for new and innovative ways to change our classrooms and adapt to the technology that we're seeing today. It's important to share ideas and just to have that free transfer of information is helpful. Ignite My Future in School launched in September 2017 to really build the capacity of teachers. Teachers have been asked to deliver content in the classroom that they themselves didn't necessarily take in school, and so empowering teachers to develop their computational thinking knowledge will be critical to helping provide young people with the future skills they need for the workforce. At TCS, we've worked really hard to harness the abundance that we have and pass it along to teachers and educators everywhere. We've worked with more than 18,000 educators in 50 states, and that's really helped us surpass our goal of reaching more than one million students across North America. It's amazing to see how this movement has inspired teachers and students to adopt computational thinking as an everyday focus. I would certainly say that activities that we're doing are real world applicable. Our students aren't learning the same way they were learning 10 years ago, and for us to be able to shift with them is really important. I know that teachers are working so hard to be able to bring relevant content to their students, free knowledge, free information that we can use. Back in our own classrooms, especially for a district like mine that is a small, struggling, rural school district, this is really important. IGNITE MY FUTURE
