Hi, I'm Sarita Mishra. I'm being with TCS for more than two decades now. Currently I'm playing the role of a delivery center head for Bhuvneshwar. I'm quite passionate at my work is if I'm able to empower others rather than self power. Having played the role of a delivery partner for almost nine, nine years, I would say I was looking for a change. Finally, I would say I was playing the role of a delivery partner. I got a request that I should attend the imaginal session that was that's the lead program that was organized at Delhi Imaginal session. It was basically a two days program and. Basically it was for all the senior ladies, women who are aspiring for getting into higher leadership roles. He kind of the program, the sessions, the kind of the opportunities that at least we got. It was really amazing and this is what actually prompted me that it's right time for me to move out of my comfort zone while Rita was talking about all the other roles as part of the lead leads programs. So that will say while. Discussing with Ritual and others and I'll be able to achieve or I'll be able to contribute to a significant extent if I play this role. So that's where my journey started. For this particular role I had to go through seven round of interviews including our COO and CEO. But the best part is about my journey getting into this role as the evaluator and myself, we were new to each other. There were senior VP's, those who. Evaluated me and they I. Was complete in you for them when they were completely new for me till the last minute. It was a surprise for me that I got the Centre as Bhuvneshwar. It is your knowledge and skill that normally helps you to achieve or grow in your career. According to me its first thing what I believe is your trust within your own strength, trust with others or third is positive mindset and then perseverance which is a very very key for you to become a successful leader. Two things what people should. Think about or they should focus on us, know their own strength and choose the right stream for them to grow in their career. Collaboration is a must that I have learned. After having joined this role, what I have learned is that you need to create your own support system because nothing is comes readily on your plate or available, be it a professional life, it's a role or it's at a personal front. Even after I was confirmed or finally shortlisted for this role, a lot of senior women I would say they also questioned me that Are you sure you are going to play this role? Have you thought about it? Have you thought through because there would be challenges. But it was, I would say myself, confidence, the perceived as the positive mindset that helped me to achieve this result. So all the mindset that I would say there is no role that the women cannot played.
