Welcome to New York. It's the city where people chase down their dreams every day, but on the 1st Sunday of November there's only one dream they're chasing after. Let me set the tone, this marathon is a meant for world records. Just even getting to the start line is a mission itself. But once the cannon fires, you're racing alongside 50,000 other people, testing the grit and determination through the five boroughs. New Yorkers show up on the sidelines to show you why this is called the greatest city on earth. Starting in Staten Island through Brooklyn, where every neighborhood feels like a block party. That's how we spread love. We say New Yorkers are rude. Today we proved that wrong. Write your name across your chest and we'll make you feel like a celebrity for 26.2. Can't forget Queens, the world's borough. There goes 13, you are a little past halfway, and then silence. Your legs are screaming at you, but the crowd is screaming even louder. It is that energy that carries you all the way through Manhattan. Well, don’t get too carried away. We still got 10 miles to go. TCS brings the world to New York City. Whether your family is chasing you around the course or cheering from the couch, anyone can track or watch you go. Into the boogie down Bronx where you're met by the wall. That last borough of the day, out of the Bronx, into Manhattan, one last time. A roller coaster ride through Central Park. Grind up that last hill, round the corner at Columbus Circle. And there it is. That dream you've been chasing all summer is just on the other side of the finish line. New York, NY. The city so nice they named it twice. Home of the greatest marathon in the world.
