When you think about a biopharmaceutical company, obviously you think about our end product as a medicine or therapy that someone takes, but to get to that there are. 10s of thousands of documents and data and databases that needs to go into and facilitate that long process of starting back in drug discovery all the way through drug development and regulatory affairs has the accountability for formulating and driving the regulatory strategy and then working with our product development teams to obtain registration of our products. The fact that there isn't an integrated solution, that means that we have to drive our business using multiple systems that don't necessarily talk to each other and that requires people to be trained in many different systems when we want them focusing on science and bringing important medicines to patients. We have this source system that tracks all of our regulatory submissions. We didn't have any good way to get visibility into that. So if anyone in the organization wanted to know what was the status of Product X filing or submission, that person would go call 5 people and finally we get the answer. The question that was asked, we were talking about this problem. They said, hey, why can I order a pizza? And I can see one, you know when it goes in the oven, two, when it's baked and when it's ready. For me to pick it up or if it's being delivered, I can kind of even see where the guy is on GPS. But we wanted to have the functionality of tracking a pizza, but tracking our submissions and our and our filings. And the way we were doing that before was we would put out these reports where you know you had 50 people out there doing all this work and then you know these PowerPoints and what TCS was able to do was able to go into the source systems and create these real time dashboards. One area that you see a lot of innovation in is the clinical trial space, but we're not seeing it in the regulatory space. It is picking up some momentum and actually a lot of our work with TCS is driving that innovation, connecting the business process with the digital solution. They've been winning awards for this clinical platform and now they're shifting the focus to help support. The regulatory space. One thing we've been talking about with a lot of our partners, specifically TCS, is thinking differently about our business model, looking at how can we partner and bring solutions to the marketplace. TCS can bring their industrial strength, IT and technology expertise and their subject matter expertise, but we'll also bring that to the table and how do we create solutions that are not only beneficial to Merck, but beneficial to industry. We're one trying to bring important medicines to patients. That's what we do at Merck and that's what TCS is helping us do.
