Chief Executives for Corporate Purpose (CECP)

Championing Purpose Inclusion and Equity

In partnership with, Chief Executives for Corporate Purpose (CECP) TCS has been bringing together/rallying organizations to advocate for greater inclusion, equity and access.

As business embraces this purpose driven leadership more fully, there is also a growing recognition among organizations of the diversity of our workforces and the need to provide platforms that ensure equity, access, inclusion.

Chief Executives for Corporate Purpose

Collaborating with CECP in expert consultations on Equity, Talent and Tech, TCS has advocated for systemic investments by organization to ensure there is greater access, especially in the technology sector, for talent across demographic groups. Through its participation in the D&I Accelerate Community, TCS has also advocated for organizations to embed more inclusive practices that recognize the intersectionality in diversity and works to address the unique purpose of each individual within the workforce.

CECP consists of more than 200 of the world’s largest companies that represent $6.6 trillion in revenues, $21.2 billion in social investment, 14 million employees and 23 million hours of employee engagement.

A key outcome of such consultations is that the nation needs a highly skilled representative workforce in order for the country’s institutions to maintain global leadership in innovation and technology in this new economy. In addition, the workforce of every organization should reflect the changing demographics of the U.S. population.

TCS commits to a shared purpose founded in transparency and authenticity. To that end, TCS is an annual contributor to the leading benchmarking study on corporate social investments, Giving in Numbers. Led by CECP, the resulting compiled survey allows insights into trends in key areas such as philanthropy, employee volunteerism and corporate purpose.
