Industry leaders discuss business and sustainability at TCS' flagship innovation event
The 2021 TCS Innovation Forum in North America, like the previous year, was conducted virtually as the world continued to mould itself to a pandemic and post-pandemic environment. With the theme being ‘Building Sustainable Futures,’ this thought leadership event had business, technology, and innovation leaders share perspectives and insights on how enterprises around the globe harness technology and the power of ecosystems to build more sustainable futures for all.
The forum focused on ways organizations could leverage technology and innovation to solve some of the greatest threats to the climate, communities, and commerce. The panel discussions in this North American edition of TCS’ Innovation Forum also highlighted how companies could accelerate innovation with new business models, for a better tomorrow across industries.
Delivering the keynote addresses, TCS’ Chief Technology Officer, K Ananth Krishnan, discussed TCS’ purpose statement, ‘building sustainable futures through innovation and collective knowledge,’ exploring how TCS Research and TCS PACE™ programs are guided by it, and how customers are central to it.
TCS also hosted a CxO panel where leaders from business and academia shared their views on how they were addressing sustainability challenges that impacted their businesses and communities.
Industry breakout sessions discussed how new business models were being redefined to address issues around creating a sustainable future for banks and financial institutions; sustainability and decarbonization in the manufacturing and utilities sectors; the rise of sustainable health and wellness ecosystems; and how ecosystems can drive purpose driven customer experiences.
During the manifold discussions, experts explored ways to bring together stakeholders everywhere, from the board-level to the community, to create a sustainable future for all.
