Overview

International conference on “Advanced materials and manufacturing for sustainable future” as part of the 75th Annual Technical Meeting of the Indian Institute of Metals. TCS is a Silver Sponsor of the event.

A series of events is being organized by the Indian Institute of Metals to celebrate 75 years of service to the nation.

The series will witness Annual Technical Meeting (ATM) presentations between November 13-15, 2021. The scope of ATM encompasses modelling, mineral extraction and beneficiation, manufacturing of ferrous, non-ferrous and other materials, development and characterization of products, environment and other sustainability issues, corrosion, tribology, surface engineering, joining technologies, casting, powder metallurgy, non-destructive testing, emerging technologies, industry automation and so on.

As a build up to National Metallurgist Day, an International Conference titled “Advanced materials and manufacturing for sustainable future” will be held virtually on13 November 2021.

Topics to be discussed in the conference

The International Conference will cover presentations in the areas of:

  • Material synthesis/development/design
  • Modern application development and trends
  • Panel Discussion on sustainability covering Ferrous, non-ferrous, and new advanced materials.
