TCS' Digital Re-Imagination and Localization Strategy Underlines its Path to Growth in France/Europe

According to the report, TCS is progressing very well with its localization strategy. It is a leading player in the U.K. and a strong local player in Germany, the Nordics, Benelux, Switzerland (for some years), and now it is also strong locally in France. The acquisition of Alti has helped it tremendously and has given access to very important customers that have now embarked on large transformation projects, including offshoring; some have even aligned IT delivery models to TCS' business model. It has come a long way to prove that it is capable of doing deep IT transformation and delivering high quality service.
Ranking itself among companies with more than 50% of revenue from services, TCS claims to be among the top 4 services companies globally based on revenue, profit, market capitalization, brand value, and number of employees. One of the important conclusions is that TCS has stopped acting like a challenger, but acts and talks with the confidence of a well-established market player, though still with the energy and enthusiasm of a newcomer. IDC agrees with this overall change in dynamics and that TCS is now a global leader in IT services.
