TCS Helps Ayala Land Digitally Transform its Finance Function

  • Tata Consultancy Services Completes the First SAP S/4HANA Implementation in the Philippines
  • The Cloud-led Transformation Led to Increased Business Agility and Flexibility to Drive New Revenue and Profits for ALI

MANILA | MUMBAI, December 4, 2019: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS), a leading global IT services, consulting and business solutions organization, has announced that it has successfully completed the finance transformation for Ayala Land Inc. (ALI), by migrating its operations to SAP S/4HANA, in the first such implementation in the Philippines.

ALI is a large sustainable estates developer that offers a diverse mix of properties such as residential, retail, office, hotels, and leisure developments. The company was looking to deploy a quick and responsive finance platform that would cater to a larger user base across all its diverse subsidiaries and support its future growth. ALI partnered with TCS to simplify business operations and accelerate its cloud-led digital transformation journey.

TCS’ in-depth understanding of business processes and SAP S/4HANA capabilities helped the real estate company accelerate time-to-market and achieve the scalability needed to meet its business goals. This business transformation initiative laid a strong foundation for ALI to bring subsidiaries onto a common platform for integrated business operations. The company accelerated financial closures with 80% faster processing time and has improved visibility of cash positions to run its business operations far more effectively.

Our strategy to ensure the realization of our business goals led us to identify irregularities in our current systems and acknowledge issues with performance, database size and manual business processes. TCS as a partner, has the meticulous skills, experience and insights to help us stride through this extremely complex and demanding transformation initiative,” said Annie Alipao, CIO, Ayala Land, Inc.

With the S/4HANA conversion, ALI will optimize and drive standard process adherence for better system performance and future scalability. TCS’ comprehensive portfolio of end-to-end services will go a long way to ensure ALI maximizes business value from their technology investments and will help it achieve greater business agility and operational excellence,” said Akhilesh Tiwari, Global Head, Enterprise Application Services, TCS.

We are delighted to be ALI’s partner in their digital transformation journey. Our preconfigured industry solutions, tools and accelerators along with contextual knowledge and use of industry best practices have been instrumental in ensuring speed and success of this implementation,” said Shiju Varghese, Country Head, TCS Philippines.

TCS offers a comprehensive, integrated full services portfolio around the SAP technology stack, across industries, business domains and geographies.
