TCS Launches ignio™ Cheetah to Accelerate Transformation of Enterprise IT Operations

New Release of Tata Consultancy Services’ Cognitive Automation Software Suite Comes with Advanced Capabilities to Accelerate Deployment and Value Realization by Customers

SANTA CLARA l MUMBAI, February 26, 2019: Digitate, a venture of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS), a leading global IT services, consulting, and business solutions organization, announced the release of ignio™ Cheetah, a major upgrade of its highly successful cognitive automation product suite for IT operations and workload management.

ignio™ Cheetah augments its proven blueprinting and automation functionality with several new capabilities, including: (1) intelligent events and alerts management, capable of real-time detection and prediction of anomalous IT conditions that need attention, suppression of redundant or false alerts, aggregation of correlated events, and prioritization of alerts based on business impact; (2) intelligent incident handling, with auto-triage capability that learns from experience.

A key component of the Cheetah release is ignio™ Studio, which makes it easier for users to extend the functionality to support newer technologies and use-cases. The latest release also comes with a significantly enhanced blueprinting capability that supports easier integration with third party IT operations management tools and uses real-time data streams to continuously refine the enterprise IT blueprint.

ignio™ Cheetah supports cloud-first deployments, SaaS engagement models, horizontal scaling to handle large enterprise environments and data volumes, and stronger security and safety controls. Additionally, the new release has a completely revamped user experience and supports multiple languages.
