Here are some of our initiatives of TCS Empowers:
go Innovate Together (goIT)
TCS goIT is a student engagement program that helps students from diverse backgrounds design human-centered solutions that harness technologies for innovation and social good.
The goIT program inspires innovation and global citizenship, equipping students the world over with the skills, confidence, and mindset to pursue careers of the future.
TCS’ goIT program aims to:
goIT 2024 event transformed the lives of 100 students from Callao through two days of STEM training, supported by TCS and ESAN University volunteers. ESAN's involvement opened new opportunities for participants eager to make a difference. Teams presented their innovative projects to a jury of technology and social leaders, backed by over 30 dedicated volunteers. Under Sangram Sahoo's leadership, TCS Peru demonstrated its commitment to empowering youth to address digital age challenges and contribute to a sustainable future.
Ignite My Future in school
The program ignites the spark of curiosity and problem solving through computational thinking - a foundational skill for successful careers in every sector.
The Ignite My Future program is a pioneering effort by TCS to empower educators around the world with free professional development and resources that help them integrate computational thinking into core subjects such as math, science, literacy, social studies, and the arts.
At TCS, we aim to create a future where everyone, no matter their gender, has the same chances in STEM fields.
TCS Perú has successfully trained teachers and volunteer team leaders through its global program "Impulsando mi futuro" (IMF). This program aims to change STEM education (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) and improve how high-order thinking skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving are taught and developed.
In partnership with Universidad ESAN and Cáritas, this initiative seeks to increase access to technological education in vulnerable and under-resourced communities. This will help more students gain important skills for the future. The program aims to reach over 8,000 students by the end of the year.
TCS HOPE
Hours Of Purpose by Employees (HOPE) is a joint initiative by TCS employees aimed at enhancing social impact through volunteering for various causes and serving the community.
It provides employees the opportunity to contribute their time, skills, and knowledge in numerous ways, including educating school children, promoting mental health awareness, planting trees, and responding to disasters, among others.
