Partnering to improve reach
BridgeIT is executed using an implementation partner-led model. Once onboarded, the partner is introduced to aspects of the program – community mobilization, entrepreneur selection, training of selected candidates and handholding of candidates in their entrepreneurship journey.
TCS brings the program’s design, curriculum, content, and pedagogy to train the entrepreneurs. It also provides implementation partners with the required orientation and a detailed procedure manual to run the program.
BridgeIT capitalizes on VLC (Village Livelihood Committee), a social safety net which helps identify and support budding entrepreneurs; and DEEco (Digital Entrepreneur Ecosystem) which fosters sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystems, facilitates diverse business ventures, and promotes economic growth.
Personalized learning is delivered using the DELI (Digital Entrepreneur Learning Intervention) framework that indirectly assesses deeper learning needs, while mentorship from experienced entrepreneurs is provided using the “Didi ka Darbar” platform. BridgeIT offers lifelong learning and handholding through the TCS Entrepreneur Network (TEN) platform which helps BridgeIT entrepreneurs connect, collaborate, and celebrate their ‘Learning for Earning’ successes.
Revolutionizing the scope of entrepreneurship, each TCS BridgeIT Digital Entrepreneur serves their communities with unmet digital services in areas such as social welfare schemes, financial inclusion, healthcare, retail, logistics, and banking. This empowerment not only improves their financial independence but also boosts their confidence and social status in their own communities.
