Standard Life partnered with TCS to transform their business through the Finance and Systems Transformation Program

In this video, Standard Life executives highlight how they partnered with TCS for the successful transformation of their business through the Finance and Systems transformation program which standardised and simplified their processes and enabled their business to grow and be scalable in the future.

As part of a major transformation programme, Standard Life was looking to replace their legacy corporate systems, one of which was their finance system. As a strategic business transformation partner for Standard Life, TCS created a blue print of the solution and worked with Standard Life for implementation. TCS leveraged Oracle E-Business Suite R12, Oracle Data Relationship Management, Oracle Business Analytics (OBIEE) with Oracle Exadata as underlying infrastructure to deliver the solution.

It was the first time Standard Life undertook a radical transformation of their accounting systems. It was of paramount importance they have the confidence in working with the right business transformation provider to ensure the success of the project.

TCS provided security and further deepened the partnership amongst the business team and their working relationship with the new system by building prototypes of the solution. The teams felt confident about the solution that was being implemented and TCS worked across the organization including the Change Program.
