I have some fond memories of my first day at TCS as an Level 1 Line Tech for one of the retail client.

As a biology student with no background in IT, I initially viewed this role as a temporary position. However, I soon discovered that it would lead me to leadership opportunities, where I would guide teams through complex network upgrades while nurturing an environment of collaboration and knowledge sharing.

The strong sense of collaboration at TCS and a focus on our professional growth enabled me to expand my expertise across various domains. This experience deepened my understanding of complex systems and provided a solid foundation for my career advancement. Over the years, I transitioned from Level 2 in IT IS to a position in DevOps Release Management. Additionally, I was fortunate to take on the role of Agile Coach, where I had the privilege of mentoring others.

Looking back, my journey at TCS sum up the saying, “Luck is when preparation meets opportunity.” What began as a serendipitous entry into the IT corporate landscape has evolved into a rewarding career, shaped by exceptional mentors and a culture of shared knowledge that has significantly influenced my professional path.
