After spending 20 years in banking, I joined TCS in 2012 with great expectations. My initial position was as a technical applications analyst for a commercial credit core system. The adaptation process was quick since I was still working at the Client office. My responsibilities continued while I was given support for organizing the application transition, which included arranging knowledge transition sessions that provided me with an in-depth understanding of TCS processes. This role required me to coordinate with both TCS and Client teams, as well as report to the project's GL and PL.
A few months later, after completing the application transition assignment, we relocated to TCS office, where I had the chance to lead Commercial Credit Banking application development teams as a Module Leader. Subsequently, I took charge of development teams in Foreign Trade and Capital Markets. This period lasted about 6 years, during which I provided services from TCS to Banking.
I managed a telecommunications project as a Delivery Manager which helped me to enhance my understanding of the industry and TCS processes. The Telcom work was very different from banking, offering both challenges and benefits. After we met our targets in collections and turnkey projects, I handled a small insurance project that grew considerably during the pandemic, along with another healthcare application project from the same team.
I have gained extensive knowledge in banking, telcom, insurance, and healthcare, which led me to seek another opportunity for further learning. I am now working as the CML Crisis Management Lead for the GDC in Peru, coordinating continuity issues.
