TCS Strengthens Focus in the Middle East Region with New Facility in Oman

Tata consultancy services will drive digital transformation and play a key role in supporting Vision Oman 2040

MUSCAT | MUMBAI MAY 27, 2025: T ata Consultancy Services (TCS) (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS), a global leader in IT services, consulting, and business solutions announced its expansion in the Middle East region with the launch of its new facility in Oman. This strategic move marks a significant milestone in TCS' commitment to driving digital transformation and support the economic and social development goals outlined in Vision Oman 2040.

The new facility in Oman launched by Amit Narang, Indian Ambassador to Oman, will be the 10^th facility in the Middle East and will be a key to business growth and expansion in the region. Oman presents numerous opportunities for strengthening regional presence and expanding digital transformation initiatives. The new facility will not only help in job creation and talent development in Oman but also bring in TCS' global expertise to the region.

The launch of the new facility builds on the momentum TCS has gained in Oman through recent strategic engagements. TCS has secured major partnerships in the region. and is working with large enterprise across sectors. We are currently engaged with key sectors in Oman, including telecom, banking, retail, and insurance. We have been supporting a range of services for customers in Oman, including:

Delivering application development and maintenance managed services for core telecom IT applications for the largest telecom operator in the region.
Providing quality assurance and managed services for core banking applications, enabled by TCS BaNCS™, for the largest bank.
Offering application support managed services, including IT support for stores and warehouses, for a key MEA retailer with operations in Oman.
Delivering core domain solutions for several other customers in the stock exchange and insurance sectors.
