This case study on Emirates National Bank of Dubai (Emirates NBD) focuses on one of the most ambitious payments transformation programs in the world.
Conceptualized and crafted by Gareth Lodge, Principal Analyst at the leading research and advisory firm Celent, this report reflects that banks should look beyond modernizing, and instead transform across all areas of banking operations, which is one of Celent’s key research themes for 2025.
Emirates NBD recognized that the world was changing, and that their current technology stack and structure was preventing them from executing their strategy. As a result, they decided to reengineer the entire bank, with more than 100 projects aiming to deliver the digital bank of the future.
