James Debacker

James is currently engaged as a senior domain advisor at TCS’ Travel & Logistics unit. His areas of consultation expertise include railroad, freight transportation, and supply chain. He is a railroad industry veteran with over 38 years of experience, handling diverse roles from modernization, legacy asset management (mechanical, locomotive), SAP-PM, UI5, and enterprise-wide data warehousing cloud migration. His other business positions have been in the areas of network strategy, market research, franchise development, service design and performance, and consumer product sales and marketing. He has a bachelor’s degree in statistics with a minor in software engineering. He also holds a master’s degree in management of information systems.
