After joining JAL Data Communications & Systems Co.,Ltd. in 1992, Mr. Sawada gained extensive experience in the field of aviation IT, including international operations such as a posting in London and leading roles in the development of domestic passenger systems. As the e-commerce general manager for the SAKURA project, Mr. Sawada promoted a large-scale system overhaul. Mr. Sawada then oversaw solutions for the travel industry and was appointed Executive Officer in 2019, followed by Director and Executive Officer in 2024. Since 2025, Mr. Sawada has been leading digital transformation as Head of CX (customer experience) Planning Division at JAL Digital.

After joining NTT, he moved to NTT-ME and then GAP Japan, gaining broad systems experience. At COACH Japan, he launched the e-commerce business and oversaw operations across Asia, including transitioning overseas business to in-house management (Business Buyback) and handling M&A. He later led the international division (APAC/EU) at Tapestry (Coach, Kate Spade, Stuart Weitzman). In 2024, he founded Nextramiles. Since January 2025, he serves as Vice President and CTO at McDonald’s Japan.

Mr. Terai began his career in the field of information technology in 1993 at the Industrial Bank of Japan Information Development Center. In 1998, he moved to the London branch of the Industrial Bank of Japan, where he was engaged in international operations. From 2002, he was involved in the planning and execution of advanced technology strategies at the Network Business Division of Nomura Research Institute. In 2012, he became Head of the IT Infrastructure Division at Mizuho Securities, where he led initiatives to enhance financial infrastructure and promote organizational IT strategies. Starting in 2020, he served as Head of the Security & Data Management Division at Mizuho Financial Group, spearheading the development of information security and data governance frameworks. In 2022, he was appointed Group Co-CISO, overseeing and advancing cybersecurity strategies across the entire group. Since 2024, he has held his current position, dedicating himself to information risk management, reliability enhancement measures, and the establishment of a global cybersecurity framework, contributing to the development of a sustainable information management foundation for financial institutions.

Mr. Namiki engaged in planning, development, and management of systems related to international operations at a major financial institution. During a 10-year assignment in New York, participated in a core system renewal project for operations in Europe and the U.S. Upon returning to Japan, he served as Head of Planning for Operations and Systems in the International Division, leading the implementation of a European banking package system across all Asian branches. Subsequently, he spearheaded initiatives such as launching a digital payment business and renewing the core payment system. In the current role, he oversees departments including ICT, digital strategy, data management, and security, aiming to contribute to the creation of prosperous society and enhance social value through the reduction of social costs in alignment with SMFL’s mission.

K. Krithivasan, also known as Krithi, took over as the CEO & MD of Tata Consultancy Services on June 1, 2023. In his three-decade plus tenure at TCS, he has held various leadership roles in delivery, customer relationship management, large program management and sales and has a strong track record of successfully leading TCS’ largest industry vertical, the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance business. In his first year as CEO, Krithi sharpened the multinational company’s focus on industries by realigning the organisational structure into key business groups. He has steered TCS’ strategy for creating the world’s largest AI ready workforce. As CEO his focus has been on two key pillars: customer centricity and employee empathy. Under Krithi’s leadership, TCS continues to be recognized as a Global Top Employer. During his tenure, TCS’ brand value has risen by $2 billion, according to Brand Finance and has been rated as one of the world’s most admired companies by Fortune Magazine. He co-chairs the B20 Digital Transformation Taskforce in Brazil and has served as a member of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) National Council. Krithi joined Tata Consultancy Services in 1989 as an assistant system analyst in New Delhi. He moved to North America in 1997, where he was soon promoted to Regional Manager for TCS Florida. In the year 2000, Krithi took over as the e-business delivery head and was promoted in 2004 to head the BFSI Solution Centre. From 2018, he led the unit to achieve double-digit growth driven by strong momentum in all major markets. In his role as the head of the BFSI vertical, Krithi steered TCS’ expansion into high-growth markets such as Latin America, Australia and New Zealand. Born in Trichy, Tamil Nadu, Krithi received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Madras and a master’s degree in industrial and management engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur. He is a proud father of two daughters and attributes his success to his family.

Satish Thiagarajan is President and CEO of TCS Japan. He acquired a B. Tech Chemical Engineering at NIT Warangal, India in 1989. Following graduation, he went on to earn his CFA and MBA from ICFAI Business School-Hyderabad in 1997, whilst building a career across organizations in IT services, management consulting, and engineering services. In addition to diverse experience leading global IT service projects, he has a proven track record managing large IT application and infrastructure transformation programs, and driving service development initiatives. In 2013, he assumed the role of TCS’ Global Head of Cyber Security. In that role he helped TCS build their cyber security service catalog and go to market strategy, and helped scale the business before accepting the responsibility of Chief Delivery Officer for TCS Japan in November 2019. Effective April 2022, he assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer. Then he was appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer as of April 1, 2024.
