TCS conducted a month-long discovery phase with cross functional teams from FairPrice and Google to deliver laser-focused outcomes – understanding use cases and business context.
This included multiple store visits and a three-day detailed design thinking workshop. The workshop helped craft different personas for FairPrice to understand the opportunities ahead. TCS led brainstorming sessions with FairPrice Group business teams to carve out the execution plan, finalize the Store of Tomorrow pipeline, and kickstart the innovation factory.

Grocer Genie is an intelligent, mobile-first assistant to streamline daily store operations through one stop task execution, data driven decision-making, and event triggered notifications. It serves as a unified digital platform that supports both store staff and managers in achieving operational excellence through simplicity, clarity, and real-time responsiveness.
It allows associates to create, manage, and track store operations tasks with ease. Powered by Google’s Gemini, a state-of-the-art generative AI, associates can now generate tasks using natural language, edit or delete them effortlessly, search existing tasks, and even view AI-generated summaries for a quick overview. Whether it’s stocking updates, price changes, or cleanliness checks, Grocer Genie ensures nothing falls through the cracks.
Intelligent Store Plus
Further enhancing store operations, associates can now get daily sales insights through Intelligent Store Pulse, which is a data-driven dashboard. It helps to deliver timely, actionable data directly to their palms along with Gen-AI insights about sales, stock on hand etc.
