The Gen AI Tech Pathway introduces students to Generative AI, its real-world applications, fostering creativity and responsible innovation
MUMBAI, JULY 09, 2025: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS), a global leader in IT services, consulting, and business solutions, has launched a Generative AI tech pathway for learners aged 18+years, under its bespoke digital innovation and career readiness program, go Innovate Together (goIT). The pathway introduces students to Generative AI, its tools, ethical considerations, and real-world applications, empowering them to leverage AI for a sustainable future.
This latest addition to the TCS goIT Live program is prioritizing Generative AI and aids students who are learning the fundamentals of how the world works. Generative AI can be a transformative tool that can enhance the learning experience and supercharge their imagination. The pathway is part of TCS goIT Live, an immersive program that blends design thinking and technology to help students self-direct their learning as they tackle societal challenges. Already piloted in North America and UK & Ireland, it helps students learn how to use Generative AI to create prototypes addressing the United Nations’ 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The program aims to empower the next generation of doers and thinkers with the basic skills to create an impactful difference to their communities.
The program is flexible and can be used in classrooms or extracurricular programming such as out of school clubs, community programs, or summer camps, offering students experiential learning. The pathway gives students an opportunity to explore Generative AI and handhold them, from ideating a solution to creating a prototype and pitching it to prospective investors to showcase their entrepreneurial skills.

The program, which is in its 16th year, has reached more than 350,000 students across 50+ countries with opportunities to develop skills, confidence and the mindset needed to pursue careers in the global digital economy. Since its inception, goIT has inspired students to apply new-age tech skills and incorporate latest tech such as AI, IoT, and app design to solve real-world problems in their communities. Designed to bridge the skill gap in science and technology fields, the flagship program brings together industry experts and TCS associates to offer highly curated training modules to the youth. It includes various courses in fields such as mobile app design, microprocessors, internet of things, and AI & Machine Learning.
TCS goIT offers an array of programs like goIT Monthly Challenge, goIT Live, goIT Online, and goIT Work Experience and more. goIT Live is the oldest and most widely adopted program, to bring innovation directly into the classroom or out-of-school program experience.
