Alumni Stories
To optimally leverage TCS Launchpad, you will need to register with TCS NextStep.
Below are the steps:
Step 1. Logon to the TCS NextStep Portal here.
Step 2. As you are a new user, click on ‘Register Now’
*If you have CT/DT Number then, you can directly move to step 5.
Step 3. Choose category as ‘IT’ and proceed to fill in your details
Step 4. Voila! A pop-up will appear with your CT/DT Number
Your CT/DT Number will be your unique identification number to provide you with access to the courses and evaluation courses in the TCS Launchpad community and other updates on TCS Campus Commune
Step 5. Click here to Sign-up for TCS Launchpad
Step 6. Complete the registration by entering your CT/DT number, full name, email ID, and password to create an account
Step 7. After successful creation of account, click on Profile (at the top right) > Dashboard > My Products. Click on Catalogue to ‘Search’
Searching for Launchpad FY26 in the catalogue may help you reach it faster.
Step 8. Subscribe to Launchpad FY26 and you are done!
Once you finish Step 8, you will be able to access TCS Launchpad via My Dashboard.
Please note: Registering on TCS NextStep and a CT/DT number is mandatory to access TCS Launchpad. The CT/DT id can be generated by registering on TCS NextStep portal. A valid CT/DT ID will ensure a seamless TCS recruitment process, participation in TCS events, and continued usage of the learning community. TCS reserves the right to cancel and restrict your candidature in recruitment process, events, learning community, and any other related processes if the CT/DT ID is found to be invalid.
Q. What is TCS Launchpad?
A. TCS Launchpad is a gateway to limitless growth for soon-to-be graduates looking to successfully transition from Campus to Corporate and work with a global IT Leader – TCS
Q. Is this program applicable to India or Global TCS aspirants?
A. At present, this program is only applicable for India aspirants.
Q. What is the eligibility to register for TCS Launchpad?
A. All entry-level TCS aspirants can register for TCS Launchpad, an exclusive community to help students prepare for TCS NQT Entry-level Hiring (details will be shared in due course).
Q. How will TCS Launchpad assist my career growth and transition from Campus to Corporate?
A. TCS Launchpad offers an array of courses on various programming languages, SME Connects with market leaders, Technology Bootcamps, Webinars, Assessments and Interview Prep series to hone your skills and be industry ready.
Q. Do I need to create my profile under 'BPS' or 'IT' to access the TCS Launchpad Offerings?
A. You are requested to create your profile under 'IT'
Q. My TCS NextStep account is locked. How can I unlock it?
A. Please note that after 3 unsuccessful OTP attempts, your account will be locked for 4 hours. You will get 2 more OTP attempts after 4 hours, however if still wrong OTP inputs are given, your account will be locked in for the day. You will get the next login attempt with OTP after the date changes (i.e., the next day). Hence, we request that you be careful with your login ID and OTP.
Q. How do I access the TCS Launchpad courses and assessments?
A. It is mandatory to register on TCS NextStep (https://nextstep.tcs.com/campus/#/) to gain access to the TCS Launchpad offerings.
Once you generate your CT/DT Number, follow the steps below to subscribe and be part of the TCS Launchpad learning community and access courses and assessments.
Step 1: Click here
Step 2: Enter your TCS Launchpad credentials
Step 3: Click on Profile (at the top right) > Dashboard.
All your subscribed courses and learnings can be found here.
If you’ve not subscribed to Launchpad FY26 yet, go to
Profile (at the top right) > Dashboard > My Products. Use ‘Click here to explore our Catalogue “to ‘Search’
Or,
Click on the search bar at the top of the page marked ‘Search Ascend Courses and Programs’
Step 4: Search for Launchpad FY26 and subscribe.
Step 5: Click on ‘Get Started’. This will give you access to both the Launchpad FY26 Courses and Community.
Step 6: You should be able to see two tabs, ‘Digital Test Preparation_2026’ which is the course section of Launchpad. The ‘Launchpad FY26’ tab is your access to the community. Important: Click ‘Visit’ on the ‘Launchpad FY26’ tab to gain access to the community.
Step 7: Subscribe to Launchpad FY26 community to gain access to regular tests, updates, podcasts, blogs and many more avenues that sharpen your aptitudes and shore up your industry-relevant knowledge.
Q. What if I already have a CT/DT reference number? Do I need to register again?
A. No, you do not need to generate a CT/DT reference number again on TCS Nextstep. However, if you had registered for TCS Launchpad previously, you need to re-register for TCS Launchpad.
Q. I have forgotten my CT/DT Reference ID. Where do I get it?
A. You will have received an email from recruitment.entrylevel@tcs.com upon successful registration. The Reference ID would be mentioned in the same email. For further queries, you can write to ilp.support@tcs.com
Q. I have incorrectly created my profile under 'BPS'. What should I do now?
A. If you have incorrectly created your profile under BPS, you will need to create your profile under 'IT' once again using your own alternate Email ID. If you want to get your BPS profile deleted, please send a mail to ilp.support@tcs.com
Q. Do I have to incur any cost to be part of the TCS Launchpad?
A. No. TCS does not charge any money at any stage of the process and is also not affiliated with any agent/agency/company charging a fee for any learning or hiring initiatives.
