ABOUT TCS MBA HR OFF CAMPUS HIRING – BATCH OF 2024 and 2025

APPLICATION PROCESS:
Step 1. Logon to the TCS NextStep portal
Step 2. Register and Apply for the Drive
Scenario A. If you are already a registered user in the TCS NextStep portal, 'IT’ category, kindly login with your TCS Reference ID (CT/DT reference number) and proceed to ‘Apply for Drive’. Upon applying for the drive, please proceed to complete the application form.
Scenario B. If you are a new user, kindly click on Register Now, choose category as ‘IT’ and proceed to fill in your details and click on ‘Apply for Drive’. Upon applying for the drive, please proceed to complete the application form.
Step 3. Select your mode of test (In-centre) and choose your preferred test centre & then click on ‘Apply’.
Step 4. To confirm your status, check ‘Track your application’. The status should reflect as ‘Applied for Drive’.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
We will communicate on your registered email ID the test schedule and venue.
All your original academic documents to date must be submitted at the time of the interview (if shortlisted after test).
TCS does not send job offers/any hiring related communication from unofficial email IDs like Gmail, Rediff mail, Yahoo Mail, Hotmail etc.

Kindly note that we have stringent eligibility criteria and a robust selection process. Your eligibility as per the defined criteria will be checked at various stages of the selection process. Academic percentage: Candidates should have a minimum aggregate (all subjects in all semesters) of 60% or equivalent CGPA in class 10th, 12th, Diploma (if applicable), Graduation and Post-graduation.
Highest qualification: Candidates from the batch of 2024 and 2025 with MBA in HR/Masters in Human Resource Management/Masters of Arts in Human Resource/Masters of Social Work in HRM/Masters of Management Studies in HRM/Masters of Labour Studies (with specialization in HRM/Labour Welfare/Industrial Relations/Labour Law)/Post Graduate Diploma in HRM/Post Graduate Program in HRM or equivalent courses.
Backlogs/Arrears/ATKT: No backlogs/arrears/ATKT/extended education. Kindly note, appearing in backlog examinations after the stipulated course duration is considered as extended education.
Gap/Break in education: It is mandatory to declare academic gaps if any, during the period of education. Break in education should not be due to extended education. Any break in education should not exceed 24 months. Relevant document proof, as applicable to be produced for validation of reasons behind academic gap.
Course types: Only full-time courses will be considered (part-time/correspondence courses will not be considered).
Open schooling: Candidates who have completed their Secondary and/or Senior Secondary course from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) are also eligible to apply if the graduation and post-graduation (if applicable) courses are done full-time.
Work Experience: Candidates with work experience of up to 2 years are eligible to apply. It is mandatory for candidates to declare the same in the TCS application form. Candidates would be required to submit the necessary documents supporting the declared work experience at the time of TCS selection process and/or post joining TCS, as per requirements.
Age: Minimum age – 18 years and maximum age – 28 years.
Mode of test: TCS MBA HR Off Campus test would be scheduled in person in TCS offices. The test schedule would be communicated to the candidates on their registered email ID.
Test Pattern: 90 minutes HR Subject test.
Q1: When is the last date to register for TCS MBA HR Off Campus Hiring?
A1: 24th April 2026, Friday.
Q2: When is the test scheduled?
A2: The test is scheduled for 30th April 2026, Thursday. The test venue and schedule will be communicated to the candidates on their registered email IDs.
Q3: Do I need to create my profile under 'BPS' or 'IT'?
A3: You are requested to create your profile under TCS NextStep portal -> 'IT'.
Q4: What would be the mode of the test?
A4: The test will be conducted in-person in the TCS offices. Candidates would be required to visit the allotted TCS offices to appear for the in-person test.
Q5: My TCS NextStep account is locked. How can I unlock it?
A5: Please note that after 3 unsuccessful OTP attempts, your account will be locked for 4 hours. You will get 2 more OTP attempts after 4 hours, however if wrong OTP inputs are still given, your account will be locked in for the current day. You will get the next login attempt with OTP post the date change (i.e., next day). Hence, we request you to be careful with your login ID and OTP.
Request you to use a desktop/laptop. Please clear the cache, history and cookies and use the latest version of Internet Explorer/Google Chrome.
Q6: Is 'Apply for Drive' mandatory?
A6: Yes, it is mandatory. If you do not click on 'Apply for Drive', your application will not be considered for TCS MBA HR Off Campus Hiring process.
Q7: I am not getting the 'Apply for Drive' option, what should I do?
A7: Once you fill in the application form, logout and login again.
Then click on ‘Apply for Drive.’ If you are not getting the ‘Apply for Drive’ option, please re-check the below steps:
The 'Apply for Drive' option will be enabled only for eligible candidates; management postgraduates from the batch of 2024 and 2025 with MBA in HR/Masters in Human Resource Management/Masters of Arts in Human Resource/Masters of Social Work in HRM/Masters of Management Studies in HRM/Masters of Labour Studies (with specialization in HRM/Labour Welfare/Industrial Relations/Labour Law)/Post Graduate Diploma in HRM/Post Graduate Program in HRM or equivalent courses.
Q8: I have applied for the drive but have not got a confirmation email, what should I do?
A8: Post applying for the drive, the status will reflect as 'Applied for Drive' in your 'Track my Application'. You will not get an acknowledgment mail or confirmation mail about the same.
Q9: What if I already have a CT/DT reference number? Do I need to register again?
A9: No, you do not need to register again if your details such as your highest qualification and year of passing are mentioned correctly under the TCS NextStep portal -> IT. If the details are incorrect, please proceed to make the required changes in the form before you 'Apply for Drive'.
Q10: I have forgotten my CT/DT Reference ID. Where do I get it?
A10: You would have received an email from recruitment.entrylevel@tcs.com upon successful registration. The Reference ID would be mentioned in the same. For further queries, you can write to ilp.support@tcs.com.
Q11: Can I make changes to my profile as I have made some mistakes?
A11: Yes, but the changes are restricted to certain fields only. Hence, we request you to fill in the Application form carefully the first time.
Q12: Can I change my photo in the Application Form?
A12: Yes, you can change your photograph before you ‘Apply for Drive’. You are requested to carefully follow the below instructions while uploading your photograph-
Q13: I have incorrectly created my profile under 'BPS'. What should I do now?
A13: Please write to tcsbps.support@tcs.com for the deletion of your profile under BPS. Once your profile has been deleted, please create a new profile under IT.
Q14: Can I still register in TCS Next Step Portal even if I don’t have any Aadhar Card?
A14. Aadhar Card is mandatory for registration and creating CT/DT Reference ID in the TCS NextStep portal.
Please Note: The First name, Last name, and the Date of birth updated in the application form should be as per details mentioned in the Aadhar Card.
Q15: What will be my work location?
A15: The final joining location assigned would be at the sole discretion of TCS depending on business needs.
Q16: What documents are required if I have work experience?
A16: If you are a candidate with work experience, you must provide experience related documents from all the previous organization(s) such as Experience Letter or Release Letter or documents wherein date of joining (DOJ) and date of release are clearly mentioned.
