Following my MBA from IIM Calcutta and a year of experience as a Software Engineer in the FinTech sector, I was looking for an opportunity that would bridge my technology foundation with strategic business problem-solving. Joining the TCS Strategic Leadership Program (SLP) in June 2025 provided me with the ideal platform to do so. Since then, the program has enabled me to build a strategic, client-facing career while gaining exposure to impactful business and transformation initiatives.
I began my journey in the Manufacturing, Energy, Resources, and Utilities (MERU) consulting practice, where I spent 6–7 months working on business transformation initiatives, helping clients reimagine and modernize their operations. This experience provided me with an early and practical understanding of how strategy translates into tangible business impact. Building on this foundation, I transitioned to the AI Program Office within the CIO’s Office, where I now have an end-to-end view of TCS’s AI initiatives, right from ideation and prioritization to implementation and value realization, while working closely with the CIO.
Across both experiences, the SLP has helped me strengthen my stakeholder management, leadership, and strategic thinking capabilities, while building the confidence to engage effectively with senior leaders. What I value most about the program is the breadth of opportunities it offers across functions and roles, complemented by continuous guidance, mentorship, and support.
As I look ahead, I am excited to take on tougher challenges, explore new opportunities, and continue growing as a strategic leader while contributing meaningfully to TCS’s ongoing transformation and growth journey.
