Tata Consultancy Services’ National-level Contest Helps Students Gain High-value 21st Century Skills to Stay Competitive in the Rapidly Evolving Digital World
MUMBAI, August 26, 2020: TCS iON™, a strategic unit of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS), a leading global IT services, consulting and business solutions organization, announced that it is now accepting registrations for the third edition of TCS iON IntelliGem, a national-level contest for students of grades 5 to 9.
IntelliGem is a unique behaviour and talent development contest that helps young learners develop relevant 21st century skills in five key areas – universal values, global citizenship, communication skills, creativity and innovation, and financial literacy.
With the education landscape evolving rapidly, TCS iON IntelliGem, a first of a kind, meta-academic platform was created to help schools and students across the country stay relevant and be prepared for the challenges of tomorrow. The contest aims to instill life skills in the young minds and equip them with the universal 21st century skills needed to survive and thrive in this competitive world.
The contest has three stages – an online qualifying round, pre-final rounds in a phygital mode and a national level grand finale. Winners and finalists of IntelliGem will take home exciting rewards including cash prizes, new age gadgets, trophies, medals, and certificates. The top-performing schools will receive the School Excellence Award and gain national recognition.

Participating students will have free access to fun-filled learning material such as digital booklets on 21st-century skills, webinars, puzzles, games and more. The students will also have a chance to connect with industry veterans and undergo a leadership training. Further, an IntelliGem Quotient Report with a personalized assessment of their knowledge and understanding of 21st-century skills will be provided to all participants.
