The TCS team working on ManpowerGroup solutions needed to be operational remotely almost immediately, given the pandemic crisis. To enable this, TCS’ Secure Borderless Workspaces™ (SBWS™) model was put in place seamlessly for 98% of this team, in locations across India, US and Europe. SBWS™ is a model that activates work-from-home arrangement in terms of logistical (device access) and cybersecurity support. In trying to activate remote working from home, however, there were several considerations. Project teams were spread across North America, the Asia Pacific and Europe; each of these regions had varied requirements in terms of access to devices, availability, and permitted operations that could be performed remotely. A 15-member core TCS account leadership team worked with agility with every stakeholder of the client to ensure compliance, effectiveness post-SBWS™, and customer satisfaction.

Furthermore, the global health crisis unfolded during a crucial time in the business calendar – quarter-end. The TCS team ensured there was no business disruption and the client’s books were closed on time, by completing 16,000 transactions across over 60 business units. The enablement was so effective, it was ‘business as usual’ with compliance to all delivery excellence metrics, notwithstanding the worldwide economic and operational challenges put forth on account of the pandemic.
