Tata Consultancy Services has been awarded the prestigious ‘Make In India Awards for Excellence – 2015’ under the IT services category, post a rigorous nomination and evaluation process.
Mr. Kalraj Mishra, Union Cabinet Minister for MSME and Veteran Hockey Player and former captain of Indian Hockey team, Mr. Dhanraj Pillay presented the trophy and plaque to recognize TCS’ contribution to Indian economy’s growth.
Drawing inspiration from Indian Government’s Make in India vision, the award is an initiative by Krazy Mantra, a leading IT organization based out of Ahmedabad, to render impetus to the socio-economic growth of the nation, enabling India to become a global leader. It honors the contribution of companies, organizations, institutes, and individuals among others, who are an epitome of excellence in their chosen area of interest. In all 45 of the 400 nominated companies were awarded with MII Awards for excellence – 2015 in their respective categories.
