In November 2023, I marked my 17th anniversary with TCS, and I find myself reflecting on the remarkable journey. At first, I didn’t take the offer seriously; I was already working elsewhere and had limited knowledge about TCS, particularly since Tata vehicles were not commonly seen in Chile at that time. Nevertheless, I made the commitment to prepare for the position and embrace this new opportunity. This choice, driven by a mix of curiosity and desire for growth, has undoubtedly proven to be one of the best decisions of my life. I genuinely believe that TCS ranks among the top companies in the world; it feels more like a family than just a workplace.
I remember my supervisor mentioning that the company seeks not just someone to complete a short-term project, but a professional who can build a long-term career, ideally all the way to retirement. It marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter, filled with challenges, learning opportunities and a chance to be a part of a global team.
The company has made significant investments in my development, offering numerous opportunities for professional growth through extensive training programs, mentorship opportunities. I have had the opportunity to work alongside exceptionally talented professionals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
Having worked for several organizations prior to joining TCS, I can confidently assert that I have never encountered an organization like TCS.
I feel deeply appreciated by TCS, and this recognition has been evident through meaningful actions. I am immensely thankful to be part of this organization, feel truly fortunate, and sincerely hope to continue my journey here until retirement.
