Delhi Public School, Pune qualifies for the Semi-Finals at TCS InQuizitive 2026 Edition
Six teams. Just one spot in the next round. And barely a point between the leading contenders.
The TCS InQuizitive 2026 season opened on a high note in Pune, where 326 teams from 48 schools, including a team from Devlali, competed at the Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Hall in an exciting celebration of curiosity and knowledge.
With a new competition format and questions that rewarded curiosity as much as knowledge, the Regionals at Pune tested every team’s ability to think on its feet. Even the runners-up position came down to a tie-breaker.
When the final answer was in, Shreyas Thakur and Rohit Acharya of Delhi Public School, Pune, emerged as the winners. Wishing the team the very best as they take on their next challenge at the Semi-Finals of the TCS InQuizitive 2026 Edition.

Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir clinches tiebreaker win
The TCS InQuizitive 2026 Bengaluru edition brought together 503 teams from 102 schools on 4 August, turning Chowdiah Memorial Hall into a meeting point for some of the sharpest young minds in the region. Teams arrived from Bengaluru, Udupi and Mysuru, each carrying the same hope: staying in the competition for one more round.
As the questions got tougher, the field narrowed. Then it narrowed again.
The title came down to a tiebreaker, where Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir, Bangalore North edged ahead to complete a remarkable repeat victory, becoming Bengaluru champions for the second year running.

Zydus School for Excellence emerges winner
It took a tie-breaker to separate the top teams at the Ahmedabad edition of TCS InQuizitive 2026.
Hosted at Tagore Hall on 12 August, the regional round drew 233 teams from 32 schools across Ahmedabad, Anand, Gandhinagar, Nadiad, Rajkot, Surat, Vadodara, Vapi, and nearby cities. By the time the competition reached the final round, six teams remained in contention.
Three of those teams were still level, forcing a tie-breaker that saw Zydus School for Excellence clinch the title and advance to the National Semi-Finals. AMNS International School finished as the runner-up.

What does it take to emerge on top in a competition featuring 370 teams from 53 schools? In Nagpur, the answer came down to knowledge, teamwork, presence of mind, and composure under pressure.
After a day of closely fought rounds and edge-of-the-seat moments, Irene George and Shaurya Bele of Bhavans BP Vidya Mandir, Chinchbhuvan, clinched the Nagpur championship title, outperforming a highly competitive field.
The city, often known as Tiger Capital of India, provided the perfect backdrop for a contest that celebrated curiosity, collaboration and quick thinking. Students from Nagpur, as well as neighbouring regions including Raipur, Bhandara, and Yavatmal, travelled to participate, bringing together some of the brightest young minds from across the region.
Inside the packed auditorium, the atmosphere was electric. Every question drew eager anticipation, every correct answer sparked cheers, and every round kept participants and spectators equally engaged. Supported by classmates, teachers and families, the finalists navigated challenging stages before earning their place in the semi-finals and beyond.
More than a competition, the day became a celebration of learning, community and young talent, leaving participants with memories that will last long after the final question was answered.

Quick thinking, teamwork, and composure are put to the test as the region's leading quiz teams battle for a place in the national semi-finals.
The Hyderabad regional saw 249 teams from 28 schools compete for a place on the national stage, with students travelling from Visakhapatnam and Kodad to be part of the action. The questions came thick and fast, the leaderboard kept shifting, and no team could afford to relax for long.
What made the result even more impressive was the challenge from the runners-up. The gap between the two teams narrowed as the quiz progressed, and at one point they were tied on points. With the title still up for grabs in the closing stages, Army Public School found the answers they needed and finished first. The win sends last year's National Champions back to the National Semi-Finals with another opportunity to defend their crown.
Army Public School, Bolarum was in the mix right from the start. Instead of chasing every question, the team played smart, choosing their attempts carefully and avoiding costly negative marks. That approach kept them near the top throughout the day.

The InQuizitive Chennai edition 2026 was a thrilling showcase of knowledge, quick thinking and teamwork, as some of Tamil Nadu’s and Puducherry’s brightest young minds battled it out for top spot. At the end of the day, Harshith A. and Tarun K.D. of Manthan Vidyashram, Kottivakkam, emerged as winners as their sharp intellect and composure under pressure earned them the regional championship title.
The response to the Chennai edition was unlike anything we had seen before. Students travelled from across the state, representing cities such as Vellore, Kanchipuram, Cuddalore, Theni, Thanjavur, Chengalpattu, Madurai, Coimbatore, Salem, Sivagangai, Tiruvallur, Namakkal, Tiruchirappalli, Virudhunagar, and Erode. Overall, we had 692 teams from 88 schools participate.
With every answer, the leaderboard shifted, and the audience cheered louder. The contest remained close until the bright team from Manthan Vidyashram found the edge in the final round, securing the Chennai title and a place in the National Semi-Finals.
