Senior Vice President and Global Head, Cognitive Business Operations, TCS
Ashok is a Senior Vice President and head of Enterprise Cognitive Business Operations globally at TCS. He oversees one of TCS’ largest service practices that helps customers leverage cognitive technologies to transform the operations stack comprising business processes and IT infrastructure, making their operations more intelligent, agile, scalable, resilient, and adaptable.
With over 30 years of industry experience, Ashok has played a pivotal role in helping enterprises transform for the digital economy. He has led efforts to bring a paradigm shift in operations where the value proposition of cognitive and data driven operations drives strategic differentiation and helps enterprises get a competitive edge. Ashok led the conceptualization and design of TCS Cognix™, an AI-driven human-machine collaboration suite of pre-built digital solutions, to drive agility in operations transformation.
Ashok has also led TCS’ Business Process Services and was responsible for more than 400 customers globally. He was closely involved in pioneering initiatives like setting up the “All Women Business Process Services” Center (a joint venture with GE) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Over the past three decades, Ashok has taken on multiple leadership roles in the US, Japan, Singapore, and Australia.
