Saumabha Barua

Saumabha leads the Transformation Practice for Energy & Resources, Utilities and Manufacturing for TCS Cognitive Business Operations unit. With 25 years of experience in building relationships with organizations from the CxO level right all the way through to operational level, bringing in both the top-down and bottoms-up view having worked in presales and solutioning, transformation and innovation, program and project management, process and technology consulting with multiple clients across the globe. Having worked in both IT and BPO, he possesses a 360-degree view of business and industry, especially in the areas of technology-led process improvement and the adoption of best practices. His current areas of work include robotics, AI/ML-led digital initiatives, and predictive analytics.

Saumabha holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Jadavpur University and a PGDM from IIM, Calcutta.
