2. Thought leadership session on AI adoption in telcos
In this session, Akhilesh Tiwari, President - CMI, TCS, discusses the rapid increase in the use of AI in telcos, and the areas in which enterprises are adopting it. He pointed out how TCS’ telco customers are adopting AI for three main reasons:
Using the example of one of TCS' largest telco customers, he said there was a 95% increase in agent efficiency with the use of GenAI. Wrapping up the insightful session, he shared TCS’ vision for the future, talking about how an ‘assist, augment and transform’ approach is the way forward for AI-native telcos.

In the session, they spoke about how generative AI, and specifically GitHub Copilot, has simplified and accelerated ODA application and canvas component development for Proximus.
